Back to School: Trend Time: Camouflage

A trend I've been seeing pop up everyone for fall is camouflage. I was a little iffy about it at first, Hello camo?? However, it's totally grown on me, and I love it. I mean who doesn't want to camouflage themselves at school from time to time! This particular trend will be so perfect for fall outfits, especially for school. Casual and trendy, it'll transition really well from school, football games, and hanging out with friends.
There is never anyone that actually has one sort of style: boho, glam, preppy, punk, etc. However, I find it's helpful to try and find a certain theme or general idea for each outfit I wear. So, I'm going to be showing you how to try out this fantastically fashionable fall trend three different ways!

camo-casual

If you love looking so effortless and chic in a casual blase way, this look is for you. If you own at least one military jacket and possibly a pair of overalls this is also for you. If you own more "stylish sneakers" than necessary, this laid-back, baseball-inspired outfit screams your name! Take jeans and a tee to the next level by pairing boyfriend jeans, a loose tee, ankle boots, and a casual statement necklace together for an easy look. Top it off with an adorable camouflage baseball cap, and you've got a fashion forward look perfect for fall.

camo-edgy

Do you have more studded items in your closet than you can count? Do you just die for skulls, leather, and rips? Can you not leave Urban Outfitters without buying ten graphic tees? This look is just right for you! It has your basics: a button down, skinny pants, sneakers, and a scarf. However, the details really make this outfit. The denim button balances out the grey leather pants perfectly. Throw on majorly studded sneakers, and an IKAT camouflage scarf, and you just can't beat it. It's edgy while still being totally casual and easy for school.

camo-boho

If you're into layers, riding boots, wearing shorts year around, and you own a fringe cross-body bag or two, you'll love this look. Channeling Bridget in her archeologist period via Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, this look is absolutely fabulous for fall. I love wearing shorts and boots, and mixed with an oversize oatmeal sweater for warmth, they're perfect. The structure of the camouflage jacket balances out the relaxed, flowy-ness of the rest of the look. Round daisy sunnies and little turtle earrings give the look some character. I would totally wear this in a heartbeat.

So, as you can see, camouflage really isn't all that bad. Take it in small doses to begin with, and I'm sure you'll end up absolutely loving it. I hope you have a fabulous Wednesday!

(I definitely just referenced Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. It's okay to judge me.)
